Life Monologue Project Director, Pamela Thompson

The Life Monologue project (LMP) began in 2000 as the brainchild of writer/actor, Pamela Thompson after the death of her husband from colon cancer. Seeking a vehicle where she and others could share fears, frustrations and triumphs in a creative way, Pamela began conducting workshops where non-writers and writers gathered together to reflect upon and make sense of their experiences with cancer, HIV/AIDS, discrimination, the impact of pets on people's lives, physical disabilities, living and dying and other life challenges which can deliver great joy and great isolation.

These monologues culminate in public performances attended by caregivers, loved ones and members of the community.

Currently LMP is actively offering this artistic approach to a variety of socially significant issues.

The Life Monologue Project is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations of money and/or time to survive.
